Is Mark Makeup as Good as They Say?

Updated on January 2, 2010

In 2003 Avon came out with a new line of makeup known as Mark Makeup.  With their "Meet Mark Makeup" campaign, it quickly became very popular among teen and young adults because of it's high quality and reasonable price. The color palette of Mark Makeup is endless giving you the ability to have any look you desire. They come in a variety of colors that will outlast many of your other traditional brands.

Not only do they have a great line of makeup, but they carry a line of Mark makeup brushes are made to compliment the makeup and give you expert results.

A complete line of skincare products are available as well that is made to compliment any skin tone.

My Personal Mark Makeup Review

Disclaimer: Since I originally wrote this review, I've become an Avon Rep myself. This review was written long before I made that move. It's completely impartial and not motivated by my desire to "sell" Mark Make-up to you. Of course, if you'd like to order Mark Makeup, I'd be happy to help you out at my Avon site:www.youravon.com

I ordered some makeup from Mark and my package came today. When I opened my kit I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised at the contents of my kit. I have used Avon before in the past, but I have not had the chance to try the new line of Mark Makeup. The first thing that intrigued me was the fabulous and ever popular Mark hook- up connector it is said to be the first-to-market interactive makeup system that interlocks your products together by one all-important connector piece. With this you can create your own custom dual-ended stick in just two steps.

Some of the products that I bought were:

  • The Glow Baby Glow Lip Gloss in Pink Crush. I was very happy with the way it looked and felt when I put it on. It didn't feel sticky and went on smooth
  • The Gleamstick in a semi- matte lipstick in Euphoric was the second item I ordered and it looked great worn under my glow baby glow lip gloss.
  • One of my favorite products is the Face Xpert Flawless Touch Foundation. It has great coverage but at the same time feels light and sheer while evening out my skin tone giving it a flawless look.
  • Another product I ordered was the Self Sanctuary Lemon Sugar Body Butter. It smells heavenly and the scent reminds me of lemon Meringue Pie.

I realize this was one of the more glowing Mark Make Reviews you've probably read, but it's really that good.

I was happy with my order and will definitely be ordering again.

The cost of Mark Makeup

The price of Mark makeup is unbeatable! You can get e/s pans for only $4.00 which gives you 2.5 grams of make up. The one thing I have noticed, like other makeup companies, is that you have to buy a palette to put the e/s pans into. The biggest palette will hold up to 8 e/s pans and costs $8.00.

If you're looking to buy Mark Makeup, it's as easy as calling your local Avon distributor.  I'm sure you've seen the catalogs on your doorknob or even laying around the office. If you fall in love with it, you can even sell Mark Makeup yourself and make a lot of people happy and yourself a little bit of cash.
